Automotive Assistant & Service Manager Location: Great Barrington, MA About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Using foundational leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing policies, procedures, and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and safeguarding team members’ safety. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information on necessary repairs, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications Qualifying candidates must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or Possess at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or Have a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities.
