Vice President (Chicago)

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio with offices in Los Angeles and Chicago, Hauser Private Equity (HPE) is a hybrid fund-of-funds manager engaged in investing in both private equity funds and their portfolio companies across the United States. HPE has raised and managed over $1 billion in private funds and is seeking a Vice President to join its investment team on a near-term start date, preferably in its Los Angeles, Cincinnati or Chicago offices.

The ideal candidate for this position will help us underwrite both primary and co-investments, lead and manage AI projects and initiatives, identify new investment opportunities and monitor our existing portfolio of investments. To assist with these efforts, you will conduct fund and co-investment due diligence, write investment committee memoranda, develop financial models, and conduct industry and market research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Private equity, investment banking or consulting experience
• 6 - 9 years of professional work experience
• Track record of leading due diligence processes
• Experience leading and / or implementing AI initiatives in prior role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
