Jr. Accountant

Bank Reconciliation SpecialistFully in charge of all Company's bank reconciliations including follow up and clearing of all outstanding items. Assist in balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports preparation. Advance knowledge of Excel is required.The job will include, but not limited to:Intensive daily bank reconciliation and cash position for five banksGL reconciliation supportEnsuring the timely and correct registration of all incoming invoicesIdentification and timely resolution of discrepancies in accountsEnsuring that there are adequate controls over cash and bank holdingsFollow-up of suspense accountsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting degree or equivalentAdvance level of Microsoft ExcelMinimum of 3 years' experience with intensive bank reconciliationsGood understanding of accounting conceptsPhysical requirements/work environment:Physical requirement, nearly all work is performed indoors/office set up.Equipment: Reasonable care and operation of standard office equipment such as workstation.Software and files: High level of responsibility in data maintenance. Proper procedures will minimize the risk of data loss which translates to loss of income due to operation ceasing.Reporting: Failure to report major procedural problems may result in loss of profit. Some loss is possible, but exercise of somewhat more than ordinary care can prevent loss.Business contacts: Responsible for maintaining good employee relations. Generally, deals with employees, representatives and vendors concerning matters that require some tact and resourcefulness.
