Job Description

This position plays a key role in a sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment by accurately removing, sorting, and counting metal parts. This position focuses on maintaining quality standards through careful visual inspection, precise documentation, and consistent adherence to safety and production procedures while performing repetitive lifting and motion-based tasks.

Responsibilities

• Remove metal parts from metal skeletons and sort them according to established procedures.
• Count parts that have been pulled with a high level of accuracy and document the results clearly and completely.
• Use a computer and RF scanner to log in and out of jobs and track inventory and production activities.
• Assess the quality level of parts being pulled through visual examination and identify defects or irregularities.
• Remove excess material from parts by manually scraping, sanding, or grinding to meet quality standards.
• Perform repetitive lifting and motions to place, move, and organize parts throughout the work area.
• Support general production and warehouse inventory activities as needed, including picking and sorting tasks.
• Potentially operate material handling equipment such as forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently, when trained and authorized.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Bloomington,MN.
