Occupational Therapist
A great school in the Allentown, PA area is now looking to hire an Occupational Therapist for a full-time opening. Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based job. Employment Type: Full-time, Contract Work Hours: 35 hours per week Dates: 2026-2027 School Year Caseload: Elementary- Middle school students
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using appropriate assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt classroom environments and materials to support student success
Qualifications/ Education:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Pennsylvania OT license (or eligibility)
- NBCOT certification required
