Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or wholesale trade setting. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to work safely in confined spaces and follow established safety procedures. Basic understanding of pneumatic systems, valves, pumps, and mechanical equipment. Preferred Qualifications Technical certification or diploma in mechanical maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field. Experience with cleaning validation processes in a regulated environment. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Knowledge of plant maintenance best practices and regulatory compliance standards. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical systems. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical failures using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and technical manuals. Work safely in confined spaces and adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities. Collaborate with the cleaning validation team to ensure equipment cleanliness standards are met and maintained. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance to support continuous improvement efforts.
