Veterinary Technician - ER

Position BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department in Olympia. Pay LVT Pay: $24.50 – $35.21 per hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4‑hour minimum. Shift Differentials Mon – Fri: 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM = $4.50 Sat & Sun: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM = $4.50 Sat & Sun: 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM = $8.00 Responsibilities Triage and obtain patient history. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR. Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as jugular catheters, central lines, or PICC lines. Perform advanced radiographs. Monitor and care for ventilator cases. Provide level 2 & 3 inpatient care. Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing advanced medicine to patients.
