These services are provided by the PA under the supervision of an appropriate physician listed with the Georgia Medical Board.Under the supervision of a physician, the PA is responsible for the following: 1) conducting comprehensive physical examinations and assessments, 2) providing treatment, 3) ordering diagnostic tests and in some cases may (order) medications as approved by a physician, 4) developing treatment plans, 5) performing specifically identified diagnostic procedures, and 6) counseling patients.
