This is a contract position with my direct client.

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Test pharmaceutical and biological raw materials according to government and company standards.

• Test in-process and finished pharmaceutical and biological Animal Health products according to government and company standards.

• Perform laboratory support functions such as reagent preparation, cleaning and other duties as assigned.

• Conduct testing on raw materials and finished pharmaceutical products following established test procedures utilizing analytical instrumentation.

• Computer Data Acquisition Systems (CDAS) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, CGMPs, Company Quality Standards and FDA/EU Guidelines.

• Adhere to testing schedules to accomplish a high volume of critical work without compromising the integrity of the results.

• Interact with colleagues within CCL. Very limited interaction with other departments.

• Two year degree in a science based field, BS in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry preferred with two or more year's analytical chemistry laboratory experience.

• The candidate should possess excellent organizational, written, and oral skills and have basic computer skills.

• Experience in an analytical chemistry testing laboratory performing wet chemistry testing or instrumentation testing including HPLC, AA and UV/Vis preferred.

• Working familiarity with word and excel required and operational experience with Water's Empower data acquisition preferred.

• Working knowledge of the US and European pharmacopeias preferred.

• Analytical Equipment with 1-3 years of experience.

• Analytical Techniques with 1-3 years of experience.

• Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) with 1-3 years of experience.
