CNC Router

Seeking a CNC router operator who has experience with CNC machines and can operate programs. Strong attention to detail and open to $25-27 hr in Lake Forest!

SUMMARY:

Primary responsibilities are to ensure CNC router production goals are met on a daily and weekly basis. Able to operate multiple CNC cutting equipment, including programming, setting up jobs, checking for centering, checking cut quality, and equipment maintenance. Follow work instructions for each unique process from start to finish. Ability to work with co-workers to satisfactory levels to achieve a common task. Good communication, organization, planning, computer skills, and basic math skills are necessary. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgment, eager to learn and a professional, supportive attitude.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Operate and oversee multiple CNC cutting machines safely and efficiently.
  
  



• 
  Program CNC routers and set up jobs according to Engineering software, drawings, artproofs, and production paperwork.
  
  



• 
  Prepare jobs for CNC routing including lamination, peeling, etc.
  
  



• 
  Verify part centering and inspect cut quality to meet production and quality standards.
  
  



• 
  Packaging completed parts in order to minimize handling defects and ensure proper inventory control
  
  



• 
  Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
  
  



• 
  Perform routine inventory on CNC support parts (Bits, laminate, etc.). Alerting Manager and purchasing when replenishment is necessary.
  
  



• 
  Follow detailed work instructions and training documents for each job from start to finish.
  
  



• 
  Collaborate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to complete tasks and resolve production challenges.
  
  



• 
  Maintain accurate documentation and records of job setups, machine parameters, and maintenance activities.
  
  



• 
  Ensure a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping policies.
  
  



• 
  Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
