The selected candidate will lead a key pillar within the AIM-9X & JSOW portfolio serving the US Navy and international partners. In this role you will be responsible for front-end assessment of business pursuits, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, change management, and ensuring contract requirements are fulfilled in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Additionally, you will also work diligently to develop and maintain strong relationships with the US Navy customer and internal program team, serving as a trusted business partner in proactively recognizing business and contractual challenges in program performance, and proactively developing, implementing, and executing creative contracting solutions.This position is located in Tucson, AZ and is offering relocation assistance. What You Will DoAnalyze and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs).Lead proposal preparation, negotiation strategy, and balanced business deal execution.Build and maintain strong relationship with the US Navy customer to serve as the primary contractual interface and influence business outcomes.Provide guidance to program team regarding contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation throughout execution of the contract lifecycle.Ensure and enable compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies and procedures.Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues using sound business judgement as a business partner to the program team.Draft and deliver complex communications, both written and verbal.Review Estimates at Completion (EACs) and other financial/contractual metrics.Readily adapt in a dynamic environment while exercising sound business judgement.
