We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Clinical Pharmacist to join a premier, top-performing 267-bed acute care hospital team. In this role, you will work alongside a collaborative group of healthcare professionals, ensuring safe, effective, and rational drug therapy for patients across a range of specialties-including emergency services, critical care, surgical services, and oncology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Accurately interpret, transcribe, verify, compound, and dispense pharmaceutical orders into the pharmacy system.
  • Clinical Monitoring: Evaluate drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
  • Specialized Consults: Assist with pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, nutrition support, renal dosing, IV-to-PO conversions, and pain management.
  • Formulary Management: Support hospital formulary compliance, promote therapeutic interchanges, and encourage evidence-based drug selection.
  • Safety & Quality: Document all clinical interventions, report medication errors or adverse reactions, and uphold strict clinical compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide clear, accurate drug information to clinical staff and patients, while assisting with the supervision of pharmacy operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (Required).
  • Licensure: Active Pharmacist License in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy (Required).
  • Experience: 1+ years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred OR completion of a PGY1 Residency.
