Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients in accordance with industry standards to assess their therapy needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities aimed at promoting mobility and reducing pain.
• Develop personalized treatment goals focusing on enhancing the patient's functional abilities, ensuring their participation in everyday activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all treatment sessions, tracking patients' progress and responses to therapy; regularly reassess and adjust treatment plans as required.
• Provide hands-on training for patients and their caregivers on the use of prescribed assistive devices and self-care strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, reviewing relevant literature, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population, including children and adults recovering from surgery, injury, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• A commitment to continued personal and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• While we require a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, we also welcome enthusiastic new graduates eager to learn and grow.
