Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient facility located in Arlington, Virginia, where you will engage directly with patients in a hands-on environment. Our clinic operates on a full-time schedule, with 40 hours per week and shared weekends. Key Responsibilities

The Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist will be responsible for a range of clinical duties, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each patient's needs.
• Implementing treatment interventions and regularly re-evaluating patient progress to adjust plans as needed.
• Providing consultations to other healthcare providers regarding patients' care plans and progress.
• Maintaining accurate documentation for all patient interactions in compliance with professional standards and applicable laws.
• Assisting with leadership functions such as community outreach and program development.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative care environment.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will interact with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, all facing various physical challenges. Your role will involve working closely with patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, and improving mobility post-injury. You will provide not just physical care but also emotional support, helping patients understand their conditions and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a similar setting.
