Position Restaurant Host Description We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a great customer service attitude to work as a Host in our Fountain Grille Restaurant. Responsibilities Responsible for greeting incoming guests, ensuring proper and adequate table assignments for the servers. Check reservation book for day's reservations and inform floor staff of day's count. Ensure each meal period has clean seating chart. Receive all telephone requests for table reservations. Request date and day of reservation, telephone number, name of party, time of reservation and number of guests in party. Large groups should have a contact person. Know and fully understand the menu. Before the start of meal be familiar with any specials. Before the start of each meal period inspection of all tables should be made. Check to see if table setting is complete and up to standards. Inspect all menus which including wiping them down and change any pages that might be missing or damaged. Help Servers and Attendants when needed.
