Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our client's team in Lansing, MI for a 12-month engagement.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Salesforce, Salesforce development, Within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce and Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.

Core Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
\n
• Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.
\n
• Ensure the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
\n

Salesforce

\n
• Strong knowledge and working experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
\n
• Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations.
\n
• In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience in writing Apex programming, Visual force pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and lightning web components.
\n
• Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations(no-code) such as Flows, process builders, and workflow Rules, etc.
\n
• Work with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders in gathering requirements and driving the team to implement technical solutions.
\n
• Hand-on experience with integrating Salesforce with cloud-based applications and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.
\n
• Good Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
\n
• Hand-on experience in implementing various authentication protocols(oAuth) to integrate 3rd party applications.
\n
• Demonstrate successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.
\n
• Ownership of all End-to-End technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
\n
• Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes for all Salesforce technology efforts.
\n
• Assess Salesforce.com architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform.
\n
• Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.
\n
• Support SFDX development, branch management, merging, and code deployment activities using Azure DevOps build CI/CD process.
\n
• Identification of risks and issues from a technical perspective.
\n
• The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work under dynamic conditions and within deadlines.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
\n
• 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.
\n
• 4+ years of experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.
\n
• 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.
\n
• 3+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.
\n
• Hands-on CRM development supporting crisis call workflows for the MICAL (Michigan Crisis Line), including coding and delivering user stories.
\n
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
\n
• Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments.
\n
• Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards.
\n
• Collaborating with Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.
\n
• Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
\n
• Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• 2+ years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign On (SSO) implementations.
\n
• Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or comparable tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, or release management.
\n
• Exposure to data migration and/or cloud integration projects.
\n
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator.
\n
• Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
\n
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Preferred).
\n
• Additional experience that is beneficial but not required, including: (Preferred).
\n
• Experience with Conga and Drawloop (Preferred).
\n
• Familiarity with governmental processes and compliance, including prior experience working with FedRAMP compliant tools and environments (Preferred).

Position Requirements:

- Hybrid position based in Lansing, MI.

- Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. (on-site days will be Tuesday/Wednesday.)
