S/4HANA MDM

Business Requirement Gathering: Conduct workshops with business users to thoroughly understand their material master data needs, including data attributes, validation rules, and data governance processes.
MDM Design and Configuration: Define the MDM data model for the Material Master, including data quality rules, data replication strategies, and data stewardship assignments.
System Configuration: Configure the S/4HANA Material Master module based on the MDM design, setting up relevant fields, screens, and data validation rules.
Data Migration Strategy: Develop a comprehensive data migration plan to transfer existing material master data from legacy systems to the S/4HANA MDM environment.
Data Quality Management: Implement data quality checks and cleansing processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of material master data across the system.
Workflow Management: Define and configure workflows for data approval and change management within the MDM framework.
User Training and Support: Provide training to end users on how to access, maintain, and update material master data within the MDM environment.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot data quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Material Management (MM) module: with strong knowledge of Material Master data structure and functionalities.
Expertise in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) concepts: including data governance, data quality, and data replication mechanisms.
Business process knowledge: Ability to understand business processes related to material management and translate them into system configurations.
Strong analytical skills: Capability to analyze data, identify data quality issues, and propose solutions.
Communication and stakeholder management skills: Effectively communicate technical concepts to business users and manage expectations throughout the implementation process.
Experience in data migration and cleansing activities
Project management skills: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor project deliverables within deadlines.
Good understanding of plant configuration and integration with Warehouse
Creation and Extension of material master
Configurational knowledge of Number Range, UOM, Material attributes, Product Hierarchy
Create and Extend Business Partner, Supplier and Customer Master
Create and Update Cost Center, Asset Master and GL Accounts
Ample knowledge of ETL process using Migration Cockpit, LSMW, MASS, BODS and other programs for mass upload
Knowledge on workflow, rules and responsibilities
Good client interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of ticketing tool like ServiceNow and project management tool like Azure DevOps
