Payroll Support Specialist

Requirements: ADP Workforce Now & Multi-State Payroll Processing Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration Process multi-entity payroll using a leading payroll system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance Review and validate timekeeping data, earnings, deductions, benefits, and payroll adjustments prior to submission Maintain payroll records and support employee onboarding and offboarding activities related to payroll Reconcile payroll sub-ledgers to the general ledger across all entities Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in partnership with Finance and Accounting teams Tax & Compliance Remit federal, state, and local payroll taxes accurately and on schedule Prepare and submit required government filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies Maintain compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and internal policies Support payroll setup and registration in new states, as needed Reporting Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports, including W-2s and related filings Complete annual W-2 reconciliations to support tax workpapers Generate customized payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership Systems & Process Improvement Optimize payroll system functionality to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls Identify and implement process improvements that enhance payroll operations Administer expense reimbursement processing through a corporate expense management platform Audit & Special Projects Support internal and external audits related to payroll Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
