Payroll Support Specialist
The Illinois Association of School Administrators
Performs a variety of complex accounting functions in thepreparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reconciliation of payroll records and benefits administration and payment of funds for Cooperative personnel. Performs related duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, BusinessAdministration or similar field (preferred) Three or more years of payroll processing experience (preferred) Expertise in complex accounting and payroll/benefit functions (preferred) Knowledge of general principles of accounting, auditing, and payroll (preferred) Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint (required) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the A.E.R.O. Governing Board may find appropriate and acceptable Salary/Benefits Compensation- Regionally competitive 12-month position, paid holidays and benefits in accordance with A.E.R.O. Board Policy.
