School Occupational Therapist
Occupational therapist for a 36-week contract in New Britain, Connecticut. The role offers up to $60 per hour, with weekly direct deposit and benefits. The therapist will provide services to students in a school setting, supporting their educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
- Assess students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in EMR systems
- Support student reintegration and optimize their educational experience
Qualifications:
- Valid CT OT License or equivalent occupational therapy certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in school settings or pediatric therapy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with students in a school environment
- Successful background check and compliance with school district policies
