Express Employment Professionals seeks a reliable, accurate, and experienced ** Part-Time Bookkeeper ** to assist with our basic bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping needs.
This position may be a great fit for an experienced bookkeeper looking for flexible, supplemental work.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that financial transactions are recorded accurately and properly categorized
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
- Bring the books through the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process to ensure accuracy
- Enter and maintain accounting data in QuickBooks
- Review financial records and identify discrepancies when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Strong working knowledge
- ** Experience with QuickBooks **
- Ability to accurately calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Strong data-entry skills and comfort working with numbers
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Pass background and drug screening
