Industrial Maintenance Technician Overnight & Second ShiftYou miss 100% of the jobs you don't apply forVolt is immediately hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Clarksville, TN.Join our Team, Weekly Pay, Long Term AssignmentAs an Industrial Maintenance Technician you will:Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Works with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while following safety, quality, and preventive maintenance standards. Overnight shifts (6pm-6am or 10pm-6am). Second shift (2pm-10pm)Day to Day ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Complete maintenance documentation and update repair records.Support production by minimizing equipment downtime and identifying root causes of issues.Follow all safety, food safety, and quality standards.Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs with operators, supervisors, and team members.Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with training as needed.This is a Full Time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:3+ years of specialized industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, requiredThorough knowledge of basic industrial electricity, high and low voltage, and AC/DC currentsThorough knowledge of mechanical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposesPossess basic hand tools to complete most tasks; specialized tools will be providedExperience and ability reading blueprints and technical diagramsBasic mathematical skills including all units of measure, fractions, and decimalsPreferred Skills & QualificationsTakes direction well and can read and comprehend complex detailed instructions and correspondence, delivered verbally and writtenWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel (both individually and in a team environment). Must be able to interface and communicate with line operators and facility personnel to assist with repairs and troubleshootingSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionMaintains a positive team environmentDemonstrates organizational skills and is very detail orientedExperience and ability to work in a fast-pace, multi-task manufacturing environmentPay Rate: Minimum hourly wages begin at $29.76/hour, progressing to $33.32/hour through 24 months. There is a $1.00/hour shift differential for overnight shifts (6pm-6am or 10pm-6am). There is a $1.50/hr shift differential for second shift (2pm-10pm).
