About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations for a multifamily residential community. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with strong experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, general building maintenance, and team supervision .
You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, support unit turns, and ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well maintained for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support the onsite maintenance team.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, leaks, and blockages .
- Diagnose and resolve service requests involving HVAC, electrical, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance .
- Coordinate and assist with vacant unit turns and make-ready work .
- Perform daily inspections of buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate repair projects.
- Help maintain the swimming pool and hot tub , ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Prioritize service requests and ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide professional customer service to residents, vendors, and team members.
- Maintain high standards for property safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of hands-on property, facility, apartment, or residential building maintenance experience.
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience .
- Strong knowledge of plumbing repairs and fixture maintenance .
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, carpentry, appliances, and general building repairs .
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Ideal Candidate
You’re a hands-on maintenance professional and capable team leader who enjoys solving problems and keeping a property running smoothly. You’re comfortable getting involved directly with repairs while also coordinating your team, managing priorities, and ensuring residents receive excellent service.
