Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Active California medical license required
• Active California DEA required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• ACLS certification required
• 4-5 years of vascular surgery experience required, including fellowship training if applicable
• Experience with Level I or Level II trauma strongly preferred; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Experience managing vascular trauma call
• Comfort with vascular surgery, open vascular procedures, and trauma care
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness during the credentialing process

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular surgery coverage for adult patients in a busy trauma setting
• Respond to vascular trauma call and manage urgent surgical needs
• Perform vascular and open surgical procedures as clinically indicated
• Support weeknight and weekend coverage needs based on departmental demand
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic EMR system
• Maintain clear communication throughout privileging, scheduling, and coverage coordination
