• Coverage Need: Approximately 2 Weekends Per Month Plus the Following Monday and Tuesday
• Patient Population: Adolescents
• EMR: Epic

• Hourly Rate: $275/hour
• Night Call: $585/shift
• Call Back: $310/hour

• Approximately 2 Weekends Per Month Plus the Following Monday and Tuesday
• Monday-Tuesday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Onsite Followed by Night Call Until 8:00 AM
• Weekends: Approximately 6 Hours of Rounding Beginning at 8:00 AM
• After Weekend Rounding, Provider Remains On Call Until 8:00 AM the Following Day
• Night Call Required Monday and Tuesday
• 24-Hour Coverage Including Rounding Required on Weekends

• Patient Population: Adolescents
• Approximately 6-12 Patients Per Day

• Provide Psychiatric Care for Adolescent Patients
• Perform Inpatient Psychiatric Rounding
• Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Conditions
• Develop Comprehensive and Individualized Treatment Plans
• Administer and Manage Psychiatric Medications in Children and Adolescents
• Utilize Appropriate Psychotherapeutic Treatment Modalities
• Manage Challenging Behaviors Using Therapeutic Interventions and De-Escalation Techniques
• Collaborate With Parents and Guardians
• Lead and Collaborate With the Multidisciplinary Treatment Team
• Provide Guidance and Supervision to Other Healthcare Professionals
• Place Admission Orders During Night Call for Accepted Patients Expected to Arrive During the Shift
• Apply Appropriate Legal, Educational, and Safeguarding Frameworks for Adolescent Patients

• Strong Foundation in Psychiatric Principles, Diagnoses, and Treatment Modalities
• Psychopharmacology Experience
• Knowledge of Psychotherapeutic Modalities
• Experience Managing Psychiatric Medications in Children and Adolescents
• Knowledge of Adolescent Development and Family Systems
• Experience Developing Individualized Treatment Plans
• Experience Managing Challenging Adolescent Behaviors
• De-Escalation Skills
• Experience Leading a Multidisciplinary Team
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills
• Ability to Work With Patients From Diverse Cultural, Socioeconomic, and Family Backgrounds
• Knowledge of Legal Frameworks, Educational Provisions, and Safeguarding Protocols Relevant to Adolescents

• Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - Required
• OR Board Certified in General Psychiatry With Completed Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship - Required
• California Medical License - Required
• Candidates Requiring California Licensure May Be Considered
• Provider Must Currently Reside in California - Required
• COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster - Required
• Medical or Religious Exemptions May Be Considered
• At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - Required
