San Francisco Medical Director Position

Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician |Hybrid Schedule- Only 2 Clinic Days

Lead a mission-driven primary care program while maintaining the flexibility to continue practicing medicine. This Medical Director opportunity in San Francisco, California offers a hybrid leadership role with only two clinic days each week, no call, and the opportunity to shape integrated care for underserved communities alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview

• Provide clinical oversight, mentor providers, and support team-based, patient-centered care
• Lead integrated operations across medical, behavioral health, dental, and MAT services
• Hybrid schedule with approximately 80 percent administrative responsibilities and 20 percent clinical work
• No call, no weekends, and flexible options for virtual work after year two

Candidate Profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Minimum of five years of experience preferred
• Mission-driven mindset with experience in community health or addiction medicine
• Comfortable supervising APPs and working closely with behavioral health and dental teams
