As a Security Officer Patient Care Patrol in West Valley City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and compliance with location procedures.
- Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance issues, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal standards for reporting and post duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
