Mammography Tech I – Radiology – Cold Spring NYPHVH is known worldwide for advanced diagnostic care. The Mammography Tech I shall be responsible for performing mammography imaging and related procedures as prescribed by physicians under the direction of a radiologist with little supervision. Responsibilities This role requires proficiency in both general X-ray and mammography imaging. The position is full time, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, hours ranging from 7am-3pm and 8am-4pm, based at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital at 1756 NY‑9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516. Required Criteria Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) in mammography required. Licensure by New York State Department of Health. Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures usually obtained by being a graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited educational program or equivalent. Analytical skills to evaluate and perform mammography procedures. Organizational skills to plan and implement several procedures simultaneously and coordinate work within the unit and department.
