Business Systems Analyst with Healthcare

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Support healthcare benefits administration and claims processing initiatives.
- Create user stories, process flows, BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications.
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessment, UAT, and defect management.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business SMEs in Agile environments.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
- Strong Healthcare domain expertise with focus on:
- Benefits Administration
- Claims Processing & Adjudication
- Eligibility & Enrollment
- Healthcare Payer Operations
- Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, EDI transactions (834/835/837), and healthcare regulations.
- Proficiency in SQL, Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Facets, QNXT, HealthEdge, or TriZetto platforms.
- CBAP, CCBA, SAFe, or Scrum certifications preferred.
