Mobile Radiology Technologist - X-Ray Tech - Bend, Oregon

Full Time Mobile Radiologic Technologist – X‑Ray Tech Setting: Skilled Nursing Position: Full-time mobile radiologic technologist providing X‑ray services to patients in home or homecare settings. Location: Bend, OR – Deschutes County. Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with rotating after hours and weekend call. Wages: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour. Company car and gas card provided. Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Employer pays 100% of employee’s medical insurance premium 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Tuition assistance Company car and gas card 6 paid holidays Paid time off Sick time (40 hours per year) Responsibilities Submit images via the EMR system for radiologists to diagnose patient illness Communicate with patients about expectations before taking X‑ray Secure a copy of the physician’s order and patient fact sheet from nursing staff Ensure operation of X‑ray equipment by completing required preventative maintenance and following manufacturer’s instructions Verify correct patient matches dispatch information before X‑ray Report any needs for supplies and equipment as they arise Comply with all state and federal regulations governing education requirements to maintain license Utilize proper radiation protection techniques to ensure safety of self, patient, and staff during X‑ray or EKG Clean and maintain vehicle and equipment Maintain strict confidentiality Requirements and Qualifications Ability to read and understand medical terminology and physician orders Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid, unencumbered Radiologic Technician license in Oregon Proficiency in performing X‑ray procedures accurately and efficiently Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Valid driver’s license in good standing CPR card Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience Operational experience with SR115 and SR130 X‑ray machines and DR unit Demonstrable proficiency in healthcare industry terminology and systems Avamere Living is an equal opportunity employer and participates in E‑Verify.
