Experienced Lane Closure Specialist

As a Lane Closure Specialist, you will perform lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and working independently or as part of a traffic control crew.

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining safe work zones using the proper equipment, ensuring the safety of assigned traffic control projects by setting up and taking down lane closures, collaborating with team members to ensure the safety of all, managing traffic flow effectively with stop/slow paddles, and delivering exceptional service and protection to our clients. You will also benefit from continuous training and support to advance from an entry-level position to long-term career opportunities.

We require 1-2 years of direct traffic control experience, lane closure, or DOT work. Employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include varying hours of operation, frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, a variety of extreme conditions at job sites including high noise levels, and outside conditions that include inclement weather. The position may work in conditions that include heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Position lifts or carries objects up to 50 pounds. Stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects. Position requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
