Campus Supervisor

The ideal candidate will possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to maintain a safe, positive, and orderly school environment while fostering positive relationships with scholars, staff, and families.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school, recreation, youth development, or related setting.
• Ability to supervise and monitor scholars effectively in classrooms, playgrounds, cafeterias, parking lots, and other campus areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in challenging situations.
• Knowledge of scholar behavior management techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, staff, scholars, and families.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and supervise scholars for extended periods of time.
• Successful completion of required background checks and district employment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a campus supervisor, security aide, instructional aide, or youth program leader.
• Training in crisis prevention, de-escalation techniques, first aid, and CPR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise scholars before, during, and after school, including recess, lunch periods, arrival, dismissal, and school events.
• Monitor scholar behavior and enforce school and district policies.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and positive campus climate.
• Respond appropriately to scholar conflicts and behavioral concerns.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and disciplinary matters to administration.
• Assist with emergency procedures and campus safety protocols.
• Build positive relationships with scholars and promote respectful behavior.
• Support administrators and staff in maintaining an orderly learning environment.
