IP Engineer

Working remotely, the contract IP Engineer will design, plan, analyze, and implement advanced network systems, focusing on IP/MPLS core, carrier Ethernet, and cellular data core environments while leading complex projects. Key Responsibilities Designs and deploys complex IP/MPLS and transport solutions, ensuring high availability and scalability Leads the planning and implementation of new systems and major network upgrades Develops engineering documentation and collaborates with leadership on architecture strategies Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Technologies, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred Six years of progressive engineering experience in IT, telecommunications, or network design Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and EIGRP Experience with transport technologies including Ethernet, SONET, and Cellular Proficiency with platforms and tools such as Nokia, Juniper, and Cisco systems
