Job Description What you will be doing: Apply specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection. Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care. Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served. Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs. Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team. Facilitate formal and informal learning for patients/families, nursing, other members of the healthcare team, and community. Align practice with safety and quality, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care. Engage in ongoing professional development and practice to the top of license within legal parameters. Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice. Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, coordinate care, and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team. Experience you will need: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire. 1 year of nursing experience in a NICU environment as a RN. #J-18808-Ljbffr
