Opportunity to boost earnings through active ASE certifications. What You’ll Do Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices. Perform auto maintenance duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection. Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement, and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems. Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components. Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems. Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system. Perform maintenance on equipment. Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts. May up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment. Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash. Who You Are You’re a quick learner—especially when it comes to cars and how they work. You’re a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles. Preferred Qualifications Current ASE Certifications: G1, A4, A5 status when required by leadership. Compensation Hourly pay ranges from $20.10 to $30.10 per hour, depending on factors such as location, experience, and skills. The position may also offer commission and incentive programs.
