Job Title: Shift Fabricator

Job Description

The Shift Fabricator plays a key role in a small die shop, using manual machining and fabrication skills to produce high-quality dies from blueprint drawings. This position involves operating a variety of machining and fabrication equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and performing light welding work to support custom die fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings to determine specifications, dimensions, and materials required for die fabrication.
• Create dies and fabricated components directly from blueprint drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design requirements.
• Operate manual machining equipment, including drills, mills, lathes, and presses, to cut, shape, and finish metal parts.
• Perform fabrication tasks using power tools and manual processes to assemble, modify, and repair dies and related components.
• Conduct light welding work, including MIG and stick welding, with a focus on aluminum and other metals as needed.
• Inspect completed parts and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper fit, making adjustments or rework as required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in New Castle,PA.
