- # Description**Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Home Health****Location:**Butler County, Ohio and surrounding areas**Employment Type:** | Part-Time | PRN**Help Patients Thrive at Home**We are looking for a compassionate and dependable COTA to join our home health team. Working under the supervision of a licensed OT, you'll provide individualized therapy services that help patients improve their independence, safety, and quality of life in their home. If you are passionate about patient-centered care and enjoy the flexibility of home health, we would love to meet you.**Responsibilities*** Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed OT* Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional mobility* Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the safe use of equipment* Observes, documents and reports patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising OT* Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation* Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes**Qualifications*** Current Ohio COTA license* Current CPR and/or BLS certification* Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance* Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills* Home health experience is preferred but not required**What We Offer*** Weekly pay* Pay per visit* Paid time off* Supportive and collaborative team environment* Flexible scheduling* Meaningful one-on-one patient careWe believe exceptional care starts with exceptional clinicians.
