Groundskeeper – Beavers Bend State Park Golf Course Job Summary Working with Property and Maintenance Managers, the groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces including lawns, gardens, and recreation areas. Compensation The starting pay for this position is $15.00 per hour, which may increase to $15.45 per hour after completion of a one‑year trial period with OTRD. Employment Details Full time; regular position. Typical Job Duties Cut grass, weeds, trees, and brush. Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and trimmers. Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees. Maintain current landscaping, including applying mulch and pruning or deadheading bushes and shrubs. Remove trash, debris, and snow from common areas. Check permanent recreation equipment for safety concerns. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Ability to perform tasks that involve regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrates an attention to detail. Has ability to problem‑solve. Has ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of people.
