The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.

Charting System: EPIC Client Interview Required: Yes Requirements
Minimum Experience and Certification Required: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
Massachusetts state licensure in Respiratory Therapy.
Current BLS certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - can be completed on site but strongly prefer in hand
Minimum one-year critical care experience preferred. Facility Details Orientation: In attachments, vary but mostly biweekly.
The hospital will provide a one-day hospital orientation that will take place at the hospital for eight hours. They use the health stream platform to supplement education. Travelers will have one day of orientation at the hospital. May wear any color scrubs.
