Central Customer Service Technician
Apotheco Pharmacy
Summary: Self-motivated, efficient, responsible multitasker to join our team. Candidate will communicate with patients to effectively provide medications, pull and package prescriptions, bill and charge credit cards and update patient information in the system. Help in the management of other technician staff and coordinating inventory with the pharmacist.
Education/Experience: High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required. Pharmacy Technician for at least 1 years is required. Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products Information Security Expectations: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to abide by Apotheco information security policies, employee handbook and security and privacy regulatory requirements. Each employee is responsible for the secure and appropriate handling of Apotheco information, information received by customers, other companies and/or external parties. Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
Must have 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience. Pioneer Software is recommended but not required. Hours: 9am- 5pm (Potential hybrid )

- Process/navigate prescriptions using computer software quickly and efficiently
- Perform high call volume to coordinate patient deliveries.
- Keep central pharmacy clean and organized.
- Complete insurance verification.
- Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.
- Help the pharmacist in queue management to create efficiencies.
- Assist in management and training of other pharmacy technicians.
- Actively monitor that proper billing procedures are being implemented.
- Have outstanding customer service skills
- Be able to work in an independent environment
- Take directions and initiatives from Lead Central Technician and DOCO
