Role Description the Commercial Property Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management, maintenance, and tenant service of our suburban mid-rise office building portfolio. This entry-level role works closely with senior property management staff to help ensure a well-managed, well-maintained property, responsive tenant relations, and quality vendor service, while gaining hands-on experience in commercial real estate operations. Qualifications Support senior property management staff by assisting with day-to-day tenant requests and building operations. Help build and maintain positive relationships with tenants by responding promptly and professionally to routine questions and concerns. Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other information for senior staff and property ownership in a timely manner. Help identify and suggest ideas for improving services provided to tenants. Assist with preparation of the annual operating budget, reconciliations, and tax forms under the guidance of senior staff. Support the lease administration process, including tracking leases and organizing documents. Help coordinate and communicate daily tasks and schedules with onsite maintenance staff as directed by senior management. Track timelines, budgets, and schedules for ongoing projects, and provide status updates to senior staff. Assist with reviewing vendor service contracts and monitoring vendor performance to help ensure compliance with service standards. Help process and organize payables and receivables for the property. Assist with reviewing accounting records and reports. Participate in property site visits and inspections; document conditions and report findings to senior staff. Support short and long-range planning efforts by organizing information and records for the property. Help ensure that fire, life safety, and other safety procedures are followed, in coordination with senior staff and applicable standards. Maintain a positive, professional image when interacting with tenants, vendors, and the public.
