This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialized unit caring for patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions, including stem cell transplants and innovative therapies like CAR-T.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diagnoses such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic disorders. You will administer chemotherapy, manage central and peripheral lines, monitor telemetry, and coordinate patient care using EPIC electronic charting. Your expertise will support patients through autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic stem cell transplants and cutting-edge therapies, ensuring optimal outcomes and compassionate support.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical and Oncology experience documented in a checklist
• Strong telemetry skills and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, and IV line management (PICC, central, peripheral)
• Experience with feeding tube care, blood draws, and nasal cannula administration
• Knowledge of Rapid Response Teams and emergency protocols
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Epic electronic health records experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
• Additional experience with CAR-T therapy and complex transfusions

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in applicable state
• At least 1 year of recent experience working in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with oncology specialization
• Experience with hematologic malignancies and transplant procedures highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Flexibility to accommodate rotating day, night, or combined shifts based on department needs (schedule reviewed quarterly)
• Valid nursing license, relevant certifications, and adherence to all hospital policies and safety standards
