Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working in special education, preferably with inclusion or life skills settings
• Strong commitment to individualized instruction and collaborative teamwork
• Compassion, flexibility, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to a diverse group of elementary or high school students
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere to address varying abilities and needs
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and families to drive student achievement
• Employ effective instructional strategies in accordance with best practices and school policies
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and required records
• Participate in regular team meetings, professional development, and school events

Enjoy a structured full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this opportunity is $40 per hour, with weekly pay for added convenience.
