This position offers a consistent 35-37.5 hours across five days each week, allowing you to create meaningful relationships and impactful change. Your Texas Special Education Teaching Certification will empower you to inspire and uplift a diverse group of learners. You will be an integral force in cultivating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging academic atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification is required
• Experience effectively working with elementary and/or high school students
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
• Ability to manage caseloads within various settings such as inclusion or Life Skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student’s unique needs
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student progress
• Document student progress and engage in ongoing professional development
