Lead Pulmonary Critical Care-Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Newnan Hospital

Responsibilities Performs a variety of patient care activities in accordance with established standards and practice. Responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties and clinical activities of the APPs in a variety of settings to include but not limited to the outpatient clinic and inpatient setting. Qualifications Education Graduate from a nursing program with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing, Required. Graduate of Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board, Required. Work Experience 1 year previous supervisory or lead experience. Preferred. Licenses and Certifications ACLS Upon Hire Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PA’s. Upon Hire Required. ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP, FNP, and WHNP) in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required.
