Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiac Surgery - Full-time Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the cardiac team providing excellent patient care to our surgical patients. You will be joining a team of advanced practice providers and solely focus on cardiac surgery. This is a full time opportunity. In this role you will: Round on postop patients Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon EVH and chest closure in the OR Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care Provide care to LVAD patients Join a clinical team at its best! Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
