Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (11:00–23:00) | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity
• Initiate and manage IV access and administer medications as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Adhere to facility protocols; no charge, float, or on-call duties required

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated IV start and triage skills
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Ability to work weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Emergency Department experience
• Experience in a small Emergency Department setting
• CPI, MAB, NRP, or TNCC certification
