Staff RN - Hybrid Med/Surg/Intermediate (Nights)

Nursing Position

This unit sees a blend of medical patients who often have consultant specialists for procedures or interventions. Examples include GI for endoscopy procedures, or Interventional Radiology for lines, drains, and injections. This unit being med/surg sees a large variety of diagnosis including but not limited to many with cardiac, renal, infectious disease, and gastrointestinal diagnosis. This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities and duties include assessment/diagnosis, outcomes identification/planning, implementation/evaluation, leadership, and operations. As a high reliability organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties. Minimum qualifications include BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing. Additional requirements include a state driver's license, RN, BLS, and CPR. Field of study: nursing. Years of experience: 0.

Work shift: night.

Scheduled weekly hours: 36.
