Our client, a respected commercial painting contractor in Phoenix, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. Position Overview We're seeking a Commercial Painting Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial and industrial painting projects in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of commercial coatings, concrete applications, and caulking systems, with experience in various commercial construction environments including tilt-up construction and medical facilities. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial painting projects from pre-construction through completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans Create and track project estimates using On-Screen Takeoff Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors Manage material procurement and delivery schedules Ensure proper application methods and quality control Maintain strong client relationships and communication Oversee safety compliance and quality standards Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders Conduct regular project meetings and site visits Required Qualifications 5+ years of commercial painting project management experience Local to the market a PLUS Strong knowledge of commercial coatings and application methods Experience with industrial and commercial painting projects Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and construction management software Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with concrete coatings and caulking applications Knowledge of medical facility painting requirements Experience with tilt-up construction projects OSHA 30 certification Experience managing projects ranging from $5K to $8M Technical Knowledge Commercial coating systems and specifications Surface preparation requirements Environmental compliance regulations Quality control procedures Safety protocols and compliance Construction scheduling software Benefits Package Competitive salary Comprehensive health insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Performance bonuses Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Our client and Solid Rock Recruiting are equal opportunity employers and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
