IT Project Manager II (NS)

The Senior Project Manager for DHHS Information Technology Division leads high-impact, complex technology projects that directly support key health and human services programs across North Carolina. This role drives project strategy, oversees cross-functional teams, manages vendor performance, and ensures successful delivery of innovative IT solutions. Candidates will work with executive stakeholders, Vendor teams, apply Waterfall, Hybrid and/or Agile methodologies, and influence outcomes that strengthen statewide services. Ideal applicants bring strong leadership, communication, and project management expertise to help shape the future of DHHS technology initiatives.

Salary Grade Range: $ 105,341.00 - $ 184,345.00

Recruitment Range: $ 105,341.00 - $ 115,000.00

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related IT field, business administration, project management, or closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in IT project management or technical project management related work OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
